Types of Knowledge in Artificial Intelligence
CIO Review APAC | Wednesday, March 08, 2023

Artificial Intelligence models are trained using massive amounts of data in areas such as computer vision, natural language generation, and robotic process automation.
FREMONT, CA: Using computers to perform tasks that traditionally require human intelligence is known as artificial intelligence (AI). It can process large amounts of data in ways that humans cannot. The goal of AI is for it to be able to identify patterns, make decisions, and form opinions in the same way that humans do. It improves the precision, accuracy, and success of human efforts. Using AI, users can create machines that can make their own decisions using complex algorithms and methods. AI is now being used in almost every sector of business transportation, healthcare, banking, retail, entertainment, and e-commerce.
The automatic switching of appliances at home is a typical application of AI that we see today. The sensors in the room recognise the presence and turn on the lights when individuals walk into a dark space. This is an indication of a machine without memory. Some of the more advanced computing programmes can even predict your usage patterns and activate appliances without your explicit insight. Some artificial intelligence programmes can recognise and respond to voices. When one commands the TV to turn on, it will do so using its sound sensors. If one has a google Home Mini and a google dongle, one can do this every day.

Types of Artificial Intelligence
Narrow Intelligence
The term artificial narrow intelligence (ANI) designates the goal-oriented version of AI. It performs a single task, such as playing games like poker or chess, tracking weather updates, or creating data science reports by analysing raw data. Its use by social media companies such as Facebook and Google to identify people in photographs is an example of weak AI.
General Artificial Intelligence
All academic work that a human is capable of learning and capable of understanding is included in general AI. It allows a machine to apply knowledge and skills in a variety of scenarios. it is capable of adapting actions to changing situations and environments. AGI systems have all of the characteristics associated with the human brain, including causality, background knowledge, transfer learning, common sense, and abstraction.
Super Artificial Intelligence
Super AI is smarter than humans and capable of handling any task better than it could. AI has advanced to the point where it is so similar to human emotions and experiences that it not only understands them but also elicits its own emotions, needs, beliefs, and desires, according to the concept of artificial superintelligence.
The concept of mind AI is a reducing class of technology that only exists in concept. A deep understanding of how the people and things in an environment can change feelings and behaviours is necessary for this kind of AI. It ought to be capable of knowing the feelings, opinions, and thoughts of others. Self-awareness AI only exists in theory. Internal characteristics, states, and conditions, as well as human emotions, are all understood by such systems. This type of AI will not only understand and respond to affective states from those with whom it interacts.
We may be a long way from creating machines that can solve all problems and are self-aware. However, we should direct our efforts towards understanding how a machine can train and learn on its own, as well as make decisions based on previous experiences.
